After Earth Movie starring Will Smith and Jaden Smith

Director M. Night Shyamalan is working on After Earth (previously titled One Thousand A.E), an upcoming science-fiction thriller movie. Will Smith and Jaden Smith got the lead roles as father and son respectively. The cast also includes Isabelle Fuhrman, Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, Kristoffer Hivju, Gabriel Caste and David Denman. The release date of After Earth is set for June 7, 2013.

Plot:
"A young man (Jaden Smith) and his estranged father (Will Smith) crash land their spaceship on Earth, one thousand years after it has been abandoned by mankind. The father, badly injured from the crash, is captured by a remaining Earth-dwelling colony, leaving his son to find and save him on a planet that is now a strange and dangerous place."

The concept of the film sounds great and the cast is awesome, but with M. Night Shyamalan helming the film I have some doubts... Well, we'll see how the film turns out.
